In this message series we will be journeying through the book of Acts. Acts is the bridge book between the life and ministry of Jesus Christ of the gospels and the promised Holy Spirit who empowers believers to live out the mission of Jesus in our everyday life.
ABOUT THIS MESSAGE
As we move forward Acts 8, Peter and John pray for the new believers and they are filled with the Holy Spirit. Simon, the sorcerer, attempted to buy the power of God which is a sin. Peter and John helps this new believer to recognize his sin and calls for repentance. As you tune in today ask the Holy Spirit if there is anything "stronghold", old habits, or sins that is hindering your closeness to Christ. If you desire to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, simply ask your Heavenly Father to fill you.
